Some modules you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some modules have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain modules can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Hi, it's great to be here. I'm still getting used to the site. For years I've visited every now and then when I was linked to art pieces, but could never really grok the navigation or what all these buttons and features mean. Then I decided to take the plunge, and indeed it gets easier after a while of using this.
Have you discovered any clubs yet? (like ~StargateAtlantisClub ) Some are more active than others, but they're good for finding other fans & artwork, and you can usually show off your own work, too.
I'd seen some clubs linked in the past when I just browsed for art, but then when I wanted to find them on the site again after I joined I found out from the FAQ that communities and such aren't actually supported by dA or part of the infrastructure officially, and then was confused again.
It would be great if clubs were supported. I've bookmarked a couple of sites with lists of clubs. Try this one, or the list of Directories in the description: [link]
